Apples and Peaches in Acrylic and Oil

I worked on some acrylic and oil sketches recently. Here are the acrylic apples & peaches:
(There is a bit of glare on apple on the right.) Each are painted on a 12" x 16" piece of canvas. Let me know what you think.

  4. Were these imagined or painted from actual objects? If these were objects you must have been surrounded by fruit. I'm particularly drawn to the apple on the bottom canvas at the left.

    1. Thanks Mary! These were imagined pieces, practicing different techniques. The apple that you have noted was done in oil with the grisaille method, then glazed over with the colors.
