Cloud Work

I decided to do some cloud work this summer. 8x10 inches, oil on gessoboard panel. Perhaps a bit too bold with some of the color?

Dusty Road Near Red River

A landscape I completed recently. This is an 8"x10" oil painting on a panel. It is based on a photograph I took during my travels in the summer of 2012, intending to paint the scene at a later time. I haven't done too many landscapes yet, but I'm finding that I do enjoy them! How about you?
